The Queens Square project is located on a high profile site adjacent to Croydon town centre. Croydon is undergoing significant investment with Queen Square being one of four large projects for R&F in London. The site has a number of constraints associated including close proximity to neighbours and being adjacent to, but not within a conservation area. Building A (St George’s House/ Nestle Tower) involves the refurbishment of an existing 22 storey office tower into 225 private residential units with commercial uses on ground floor and the addition of new floors to increase the building height to 28 storeys. The building is joined with building B at the existing single storey basement level.

Building B comprises refurbishment of an existing 5 storey office building into 63 mixed tenure residential units with commercial uses and refuse stores at ground level. Proposed additional floors increase the building height to 7 storeys.
